SevenOne Scores New Deals on Catastrophe Feature

MUNICH, January 3: The Darlow Smithson-produced catastrophe
feature Comet Impact, which premiered to
strong ratings on German broadcaster ProSieben last night, has notched up new
free-TV deals, courtesy of SevenOne International.

The film, broadcast January 2 at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben,
scored a 15.3 percent share in viewers 14 to 49, 31 percent above the average
share for this demo in 2007. In 30 to 49, meanwhile, the film secured a 16.5
percent share, 73 percent above the channel average last year.

New deals include free-TV broadcasters in Bulgaria and the
Czech Republic, adding to previous agreements signed in Belgium, Greece, the
Russian Federation, Poland, Romania, the Slovak Republic, the Middle East,
Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
