Taffy Secures New Broadcast Deals for Dive Olly Dive!

PARIS, December 17: Taffy Entertainment has scored several
international deals for the CGI-animated preschool series Dive Olly Dive! with broadcasters in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

In Europe, the U.K.’s GMTV has picked up the series for its
preschool strand Wakey Wakey, which airs
on ITV1 and CiTV. Spain’s TVE has picked up the series for both terrestrial TV
as well as its digital kids’ channel Clan. Additionally, MTV3 in Finland has
taken on the series. Several European broadcasters already air the program,
including France 5, KI.KA in Germany and Scandinavian pubcasters SVT, DR and
NRK.

As part of the latest round of sales, Asian broadcasters
Cineplex Thailand and TPI in Indonesia have snapped up the series, as has
Cartoon Network Latin America. Several local distributors in Poland, South
Africa and English-speaking African territories have also taken on the series.

Dive Olly Dive! is
co-produced in high-definition CGI by Mike Young Productions, Flying Bark
Productions of Australia, KI.KA, ARD of Germany, Telegael of Ireland and GDC.
The show was created by Andrew and Ian Ross, and produced with the support of
the MEDIA Plus Programme of the European Community. In the series, Olly and
Beth are two young research submarines-in-training who experience the joys and
challenges of life in their underwater world.

“The preschool market is very competitive and Dive Olly
Dive!
clearly stands out from the pack,
with significant broadcaster deals in all major territories,” said Lionel
Marty, the president of worldwide distribution for Taffy Entertainment. “Our
recent deals for the program in Asia, followed by these sales to top
broadcasters across Europe, Asia and in Latin America are a testament to the
show’s wide appeal.”
