Power Unveils NATPE Slate

LONDON,
December 17: Power will be presenting a wide-ranging slate at NATPE, including
drama, action-adventure, sci-fi/fantasy and contemporary adaptations, headlined
by Robinson Crusoe.

Robinson
Crusoe
is a 13-part
drama being produced for NBC. Directed by Yves Simoneau, this adaptation
of Daniel Defoe’s classic explores the perils and challenges set in store for
the world’s most famous castaway, who is left to survive on a deserted island.
The series is set to begin production in March 2008.

Power will also be presenting another 13-part sci-fi series,
The Changeling, which follows the
adventures of Sorrow, a human girl stolen by hedonistic, soulless Faeries in
her infancy and raised as a Changeling in their world until her escape back to
her own kind on the eve of her 20th birthday.

Power will also launch three new mini-series: the 2×2-hour
XIII: The Conspiracy
, starring Val Kilmer
and Stephen Dorff; the two-part political thriller The Summit, starring Bruce Greenwood, James Purefoy, Lisa Ray
and Rachelle Lefevre; and Pinocchio,
featuring Bob Hoskins as Gepetto in a remake of the classic family tale.

Two television movies will also be unveiled at NATPE, each
two-hours long and featuring a female star. Mistaken is a dark tale of seduction and betrayal starring Lost’s and 24’s
Lana Parilla as a young divorcee. She embarks on a dangerous journey to track
an imposter who has stolen her identity. Summer House is a sinister story featuring Lindsay Price and
David Haydn-Jones.

Also in Power’s NATPE lineup will be selections from the RHI
catalogue, including Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and The Colour of Magic.
