Lifetime Taps NBC Movie Exec as New VP, Original Movies

LOS ANGELES, December 10: Lifetime Networks has named Stephen
Bulka as its VP of original movies, effective immediately.

Bulka will report to Tanya Lopez, Lifetime Networks’ senior
VP of original movies. Based in Los Angeles, Bulka will be responsible for the
development of Lifetime Original Movies, as well as movies for Lifetime Movie
Network (LMN). For the past seven years, Bulka has served as the VP of movies
and mini-series at NBC Entertainment, where he oversaw the development and
production of such television movies as Martha Inc: The Story of Martha Stewart
and the musical A Christmas Carol, as well as the Behind
the Camera
movie franchise.

Lifetime's movie slate for 2008 includes: Queen Sized, starring Hairspray's Nikki Blonsky, airing January 12; Racing
for Time,
starring Charles S. Dutton,
airing February 16; Wisegal,
starring Alyssa Milano, James Caan and Jason Gedrick; The Memory
Keeper's Daughter,
starring Dermot
Mulroney, Emily Watson and Gretchen Mol; The Tenth Circle, starring Kelly Preston and Ron Eldard; and True
Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet
starring
music sensation Joanna "JoJo" Levesque and Valerie Bertinelli. On
Lifetime Movie Network, the first-ever original 4-hour miniseries, The
Capture of the Green River Killer,
starring
Tom Cavanagh, Amy Davidson, Sharon Lawrence, James Russo and James Marsters,
will premiere in first quarter 2008.
