Sparks Network Adds New Member

STOCKHOLM, November 12:
Sparks Network has added independent Romanian and Hungarian producer Paprika to
its global format exchange collective.

Paprika is known for
successful adaptations of formats like Wife Swap, Super Nanny and The Block, as
well as local sitcoms. Founded five years ago by Peter Marschall, the company
consists of two main entities. The first is Paprika Entertainment, for TV
productions managed by Marschall and the second is Paprika Promotion, for
branded entertainment, managed by Marschall’s partner, Robert Chandler, as CEO.

In addition, Paprika has started operations in South America through the
Paprika Latino unit.

“We are very impressed by
Paprika and believe they will match very well in the network,” said Fredrik af
Malmborg, the managing director of Sparks Network. “Both the Romanian and
Hungarian market are interesting with a growing role for a good independent
production company and we believe Paprika has a great potential.”
