STRATEGY
FOR ROLLOUT:

Capitalizing on Miffy’s
brand recognition, Telescreen is rolling out four 11-minute specials, named Explore
the World with Miffy.
The
series is intended to raise kids’ awareness of other cultures and allow them to
gain an understanding of tolerance. In the new series, Miffy, together with her
friends and family, travels by train, car, plane or boat, to the Far East,
Africa, Europe and the North Pole. On every continent, Miffy goes on a journey
that can be funny or exciting. Another country often means another language,
other food, different customs and lots of new faces; all new experiences both
for Miffy and her little fans. Miffy discovers that, despite these differences,
people from all over the world can be your friends.

These new episodes
show a brand-new Miffy world through new techniques, clothes, colors and scenery. They
are about everyday explorations and discoveries. The themes are appealing and
accessible for preschoolers, as Miffy engages in activities and adventures that
young children recognize. Images, text and music reinforce the positive tone
that is a hallmark of the Miffy series.
