New Commission, Sales for CBBC’s Factual Kids’ Strand

LONDON, October 16: CBBC Production has commissioned Serious
Ocean, a sixth edition of ALL3MEDIA
International’s multi-award winning children’s factual strand Serious.

This new show builds on the success of the previous seasons,
Serious Jungle, Serious Desert, Serious Arctic, Serious Amazon and Serious Andes, for which ALL3MEDIA has served as a funding partner
for and has distributed around the world.

Serious Ocean will be
the largest expedition to-date, with eight young adventurers traveling to the
southern-most part of Chile to sail the Pacific and around Cape Horn. Along the
way, the team will conduct research into various penguins and sea mammals.

ALL3MEDIA has also inked sales on Serious Andes to Discovery Kids in the U.S., Kultura in Russia, NRK
Norway, TV3 New Zealand, TV Ontario and Knowledge Network in Canada, SVT
Sweden, TVB Hong Kong, UBC Thailand and the French DTT channel GULLI, which has
also re-licensed all previous seasons.
