C4I Notches Up Moon Doc Deals

LONDON, July 30: Channel 4 International has inked deals for
the theatrical release of the award-winning documentary In the Shadow of the
Moon in the U.K. and Japan.

The film will be theatrically released by Vertigo Films in
the U.K. this autumn and by Asmik Ace Entertainment in Japan in 2008. Channel 4
International is the U.K. television and film sales agent, and other
international partners include THINKFilm, which acquired the title at Sundance,
and Madman Entertainment, which picked up the Australian rights in Berlin.

In the Shadow of the Moon combines interviews with the astronauts who made the first American
missions to the moon with archival material from the original NASA film
footage.
