Armoza’s Dating Format Heads to Romania

MEVASSERT ZION, June 22:
Israel’s Armoza Formats has licensed 36 episodes of the dating format Foreplay—which originally aired on Israel’s Channel
10—to the Romanian channel Romantica.

Foreplay will premiere on July 2 at 10 p.m. on Romantica,
and air daily from Monday through Thursday. Romantica is a joint venture
between Zonemedia and Realitatea Media. The format is the second show from the
company to be commissioned in the Eastern European market since the launch of The
Bubble
in Poland on TVP2. Distributed
by Armoza Formats, Foreplay was
developed by Israeli production company JCS, who also created The Package format.

The Romanian deal joins a
number of recent option agreements for Foreplay that were signed following
MIPTV in France, Italy, Poland, Ireland and French Canada.

"Now that dating
shows are back, the market is looking for the next generation of fresh and
exciting dating formats—and is finding that Foreplay has that charm and energy," said Avi Armoza,
the CEO of Armoza Formats.
