Southeast Asian Launch of AETN Channels Set for June

SINGAPORE/KUALA LUMPUR, May 30: AETN All Asia Networks (AAAN),
a joint venture between A&E Television Networks and Astro All Asia
Networks, will launch The History Channel and Crime & Investigation Network
in Southeast Asia on June 15, with territories at launch to include Malaysia,
Singapore, Brunei and Thailand.

The History Channel and Crime & Investigation Network
will be carried on ASTRO in Malaysia and Brunei. In Singapore, both channels
will be carried on StarHub. In Thailand, The History Channel will be available
on TrueVision. Additional distribution arrangements will be announced in the
coming months. The History Channel and Crime & Investigation Network will
be fully language-versioned in Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia, and later
in Thai and Chinese. Program schedules for both The History Channel and Crime
& Investigation Network will feature local acquisitions and local
productions.
