Taffy Entertainment Scores Middle East Sales

PARIS, April 24: Taffy Entertainment has licensed a number
of its properties into the Middle East to United Arab Emirates-based
broadcasters E-Vision and MBC.

MBC picked up the Emmy-nominated 52×11-minute series Growing
Up Creepie.
Recently named Best TV Series
For Children at the Cartoons on the Bay animation festival, Growing
up Creepie
takes an irreverent look at
adolescence through the eyes of Creepie Creecher, a young girl who was abandoned
as a baby and raised by a family of bugs. It was produced in association with
DAG Entertainment, Sunwoo Entertainment/Peach Blossom, Telegael Teoranta and
Discovery Kids.

E-Vision has picked up the Emmy-nominated 52×11-minute
series Dive Olly Dive!, which follows
the underwater escapades of two young research submarines-in-training. The
series was co-produced in high-definition by Mike Young Productions (MYP),
Flying Bark Productions of Australia, KI.KA, ARD of Germany, Telegael of
Ireland and GDC. E-Vision has also acquired the new 3-D HD animated 52×7-minute
series SamSam. Targeted at
4-6-year-olds, the series is based on the popular comic book published by Bayard
Jeunesse and published in magazines worldwide. E-Vision has also secured second
season deals for the 104×13-minute 3-D/CGI comedy series Pet Alien, about a 12-year-old’s life seen through the eyes of
five aliens, and ToddWorld,
a half-hour animated series that is based
on the best-selling books of Todd Parr.
