Retirement Living TV, S-VOX in Distribution, Co-Pro Deal

COLUMBIA,
April 16: Retirement Living TV (RLTV), the first network created for people
aged 55 and over, has announced its first international distribution agreement,
inking an alliance with the Canada’s S-VOX.

Retirement
Living TV content will be distributed on S-VOX’s One: The Body, Mind &
Spirit channel starting in June, and on Vision TV beginning in the fall. In
addition, RLTV and S-VOX will co-produce content specifically for Canadian
viewers.

RLTV
launched its slate of programming in September 2006 with content designed to
inform, involve, and inspire seniors by offering information on finances,
health and fitness, politics and social issues, media, entertainment, and more.
RLTV’s four-hour block of programming is currently available in more than 26
million U.S. homes. The Canadian deal adds a further 8 million homes via Vision
TV and more than 2 million via One.

“We
are excited about the strategic alliance between RLTV and S-VOX,” said Brad
Knight, the president of Retirement Living TV. “As we continue to build the
network’s brand, it is imperative that we grow our audience, expand our reach
into international territories, and seek opportunities to further increase our
impact on television today.”

Mark
Prasuhn, COO and SVP of programming for S-VOX, added: “We are extremely pleased
to enter into what we expect to be a successful and highly productive
partnership with Retirement Living TV. We believe RLTV’s mandate to empower and
enrich the lives of viewers is perfectly aligned with that of One: The Body,
Mind & Spirit channel. And RLTV’s entry into Canada will open up an
outstanding opportunity for Canadian factual producers to work with RLTV and
S-VOX to create entertaining and informative programming for the 55-plus
audience.”
