The Style Network to Launch Reality Show Featuring Kimora Lee Simmons

LOS ANGELES, April 12: Kimora Lee Simmons, fashion designer,
former model and the ex-wife of music industry mogul Russell Simmons, will be
featured in a new weekly reality series on The Style Network, with the working
title Kimora, debuting this summer.

The series was developed for The Style Network by Elaine
Brooks. Steve Cantor from Stick Figure Productions and Carmen Mitcho from E!
Networks will executive produce. Kimora
will be an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the life of Simmons, who runs
the multimillion dollar Baby Phat fashion brand, the sister company to Phat
Farm. She is also the mother of seven-year-old Ming and four-year-old Aoki.
Simmons is the only multi-ethnic woman (she is half Japanese, half
African-American) to have a successful fashion empire and lifestyle brand,
which includes fragrance, cosmetics, beauty, and home collections. She is also
the author of the inspirational/lifestyle guide Fabulosity: What It
Is and How To Get It
. Additionally, Simmons
has established the Kimora Lee Simmons Scholarship Fund at her St. Louis alma
mater, providing college tuition support for academically successful girls with
financial needs.

"Kimora Lee Simmons is simply a fascinating
woman," said Salaam Coleman Smith, the EVP of The Style Network. "She
is refreshingly blunt, absolutely honest and outrageously entertaining…the kind
of woman who knows what she wants and how to get it. Nothing she does is small,
nothing she says is insignificant and nothing she wants is unavailable. This
series is going to open a lot of women's eyes to the possibilities life has to
offer, and all of us at Style are happy to be working with such an
inspirational woman."
