Lifetime Television Names Production VP

LOS ANGELES, March 22: Lifetime Television has named Julie
Stern as its new VP of production, effective immediately.

Stern joined Lifetime in May
2006 as the senior director of production. Based in Los Angeles, she will
continue to be responsible for the physical production of the network's reality
series and pilots, including series such as Lisa Williams: Life Among the
Dead
; Gay, Straight or Taken? and the pilots How to Look Good Naked, hosted by Carson Kressley, and Hello
Goodbye
, hosted by J.D. Roberto.

Prior to joining the network,
Stern produced several series for Lifetime, serving as co-executive producer of
Head 2 Toe and Who Knows You
Best?
Most recently, she served as
supervising producer of MTV's Score.
For six years, Stern served as the executive in charge of production at Buena
Vista Television, where she oversaw the Emmy Award-winning syndicated game show
Win Ben Stein's Money, among
others.
