MTV Networks Latin America Promotes Key Ad Sales Execs

MIAMI, March 21: MTV Networks Latin America (MTVNLA) has
announced a new raft of promotions of several key ad sales executives,
including Corinna Keller, who has been promoted to VP of ad sales and marketing
partnerships.

In her new role, Keller, based in Miami, will oversee ad
sales, trade marketing and traffic operations for MTVNLA’s brands and services,
reporting to John Mafoutsis, the SVP of international sales and marketing
partnerships for MTVNLA. She will also continue to oversee MTV, Vh1 and
Nickelodeon/Nick at Nite’s pan-regional ad sales for U.S. and international
based clients, as well as those in the Andean region, including Colombia and
Venezuela, and traffic operations for the whole Latin American region. Keller
was promoted from a position as director of ad sales for MTVNLA, where she was
in charge of U.S. sourced pan-regional advertising and traffic operations.
Keller joined MTVNLA in November 1999 in Mexico as Nickelodeon’s pan regional
account director.

In addition, James Rigney has been promoted to the director
of ad sales and marketing partnerships, where he will be responsible for
ongoing business development, as well as advertising and marketing initiatives
with U.S. based clients targeting Latin American youth.

Previously, he served as the senior manager of emerging
markets for MTVNLA, in charge of identifying and securing new business
opportunities across all brands, in addition to managing the company’s
day-to-day relations with external ad sales representatives in Venezuela,
Colombia and Central America.

At the regional level, Berenguela Parres has been promoted
to the senior director of ad sales in Mexico, Carmina Garcia to the account
director of ad sales in Mexico, and Alonso Barcelo joins MTVNLA as the new
business manager of ad sales in Mexico. In Argentina, Fernanda Slingo has been
promoted to senior director of ad sales and Gaston Levy to account manager.
