Aggregator and Mercury Media Launch Documentary Portal

LONDON, March 14: Joiningthedots.tv
(JTD), the new TV-over-broadband platform from Aggregator and Mercury Media, is
up and running, providing access to a library of factual programming.

The new service can be accessed
at www.joiningthedots.tv, with the user paying for the content either on a
pay-as-you-go basis or via a subscription. With a motto of “independent
films for independent people,” JTD provides a wide range of factual programming
that addresses issues from the environment to Iraq, drugs and the death penalty
to personal issues like infertility and debt.

Tim Sparke, joiningthedots.tv’s
MD, commented: “We are delivering something new for people who seek the truth
about today’s important issues, a space where subscriber interaction, broadband
connectivity and DVD quality documentary converge to create a new hybrid media.
We have first-rate documentaries including exclusives from Roco, Verve, Minotaur,
John McClean, TVF, Hopscotch, and Wisywyg. By making these films available over
Aggregator’s successful TV-over-broadband platform we can meet our aim of
providing a true alternative to the traditional TV and media offerings.
joiningthedots.tv is an on-demand service that will be genuinely thought
provoking, uniquely innovative and creatively satisfying.”
