BKN Announces Digital, Gaming Deals

LONDON/NEW YORK, February 21: BKN International has tapped Digital Music Group (DMGI) to handle the
North American digital rights for its current and upcoming films and series,
and has aligned with The Game Factory for a PSP video game based on Legend
of the Dragon
.

The DMGI deal includes
BKN series such as Legend of the Dragon, Dork Hunters from Outer Space and Zorro—Generation Z, as well as films such as Jungle Book—Rikki-Tikki-Tavi to the
Rescue
, Robin Hood
—Quest for the King
and Kong—Return
to the Jungle
. "Having an
organization like DMGI with expertise in handling all digital rights in the key
USA and Canada markets is very important to us," said Allen Bohbot, the
CEO of BKN. "DMGI provide access to new stores, particularly online
retailers including iTunes, Google Video, RealNetworks, Napster, Wal-Mart
Music, and Yahoo!, which will enable kids to view our shows on these channels.”

On the merchandise front, The Game Factory will be kicking
off its 2007 lineup in May with the upcoming 3-D fighting title, Legend of
the Dragon
, for the PSP (PlayStation
Portable) system. “This is our first title for the PSP system and we are
confident that we are delivering an experience that will satisfy fans of the
series as well as PSP system owners worldwide,” said Henrik Mathiasen, Game
Factory’s president. “We have put a lot of efforts in producing a wireless,
multiplayer-enabled fighting game suited to the portable format.”
