Access Hollywood Launches in China

UNIVERSAL CITY, February 13: NBC Universal International
Television Distribution has reached a deal for a Mandarin-language version of
its entertainment magazine Access Hollywood
to air in China.

The deal follows the launch by Channel 6 in Ireland of its
own version of the show. Launched in September 2006, the Irish edition is
produced in Dublin and consists of local Irish and European entertainment news,
as well as U.S. content. It is produced by Intermission Studios for Channel 6
and distributed by NBC Universal International Television Distribution.

The Chinese series, which is produced in Beijing, airs as a
one-hour weekly program and is hosted by Chen Juan. Produced via a production
consultancy arrangement through Small World Television for NMTV, Access
Hollywood China
can be seen across the
country. It features local, Chinese entertainment stories, as well as content
from the U.S. series. Access Hollywood China is distributed by NBC Universal International
Television Distribution.

Leslie Jones, the VP of international sales and format
production at NBC Universal International Television Distribution, commented:
"The fact that Access Hollywood is
being produced in Beijing with a Chinese host and the majority of the content
is shot in China, is a testament to how well this format adapts culturally. It
is truly exciting to be working with foreign partners who have a unique
understanding and knowledge of their marketplace and we look forward to great
success for many years to come."

"The appetite for international entertainment lifestyle
content in China is increasing dramatically and we are honored and excited to
be the first television company to bring the Mandarin Chinese version of Access
Hollywood
to this dynamic
marketplace," added Jon Goodman, the CEO of Small World Television. “We
believe this series will be a huge success and will help build the
international gateway for creating indigenous television programs in
China."
