Antena 3, Globomedia in Production Deal

MADRID, January 25:
Spanish broadcaster Antena 3 has inked a three-year drama and entertainment
production deal with local production outfit Globomedia.

Globomedia will work
exclusively for Antena 3 for the next three years, despite the fact that
Globomedia’s parent company, Imagina, also owns a stake in Spanish terrestrial
La Sexta. “With this pact the difficulties associated with the producer's
acquisition of La Sexta's shares have been overcome,” an Antena 3 statement
said.

The first of Globomedia’s
new productions for Antena 3 is slated to air in the second quarter.
