Amp'd Mobile to Broadcast Live NBA, CSTV and Summer Hoops

LOS ANGELES, January 19: Amp’d Mobile has inked content
distribution deals with the NBA, CSTV and Dime and Bounce Magazines to
broadcast live basketball games and highlights for NBA and NCAA games, as well
as top summer basketball tournaments.

Amp’d Mobile’s deal with the NBA marks the first time that a
major U.S. professional sports league has broadcast live games on mobile. Amp'd
Mobile will provide a live video stream of NBA TV that will include live
broadcasts of NBA games, daily news coverage, highlights from NBA TV's top
analysts, and all of the network's original series, including Tuesday Night
with Ahmad
, hosted by Emmy Award-winning
sportscaster Ahmad Rashad. Mobile customers will also have access to daily game
highlights throughout the season on a separate made-for-mobile video channel.

Herbst, the SVP and GM of NBA TV. "Through Amp'd, we can deliver NBA TV's
full lineup of programming and provide our fans with a new way to experience
the excitement of our game."

In terms of other live basketball offerings, Amp’d has
partnered with Dime and Bounce
magazines to provide a series of live
broadcasts of major U.S. summer street-ball tournaments as well as insider
interviews and articles about street basketball. Amp’d Mobile will also
continue its partnership with CBS Corp.-owned CSTV to offer broadcasts of top
college basketball match-ups to Amp’d subscribers.
