Comedy Central Expands Roster of Broadband Shows

NEW YORK, January 9: Viacom-owned Comedy Central has
launched 11 new original broadband shows on its website, comedycentral.com,
expanding its current roster to include more than 25 original web productions.

The group of new broadband shows include The Watch List, the first series to feature a lineup of exclusively
Muslim-American comedians, and Judge Fudge, the first Comedy Central web series to be developed
from a character in a successful on-air network show: Drawn Together.

Other projects slated for launch this year include Guacamole, a character-based comedy centered around a tub of
Guacamole and his best friend, a can of Minestrone soup; and Monsters, an animated series centered on four recognizable
monsters that all live in the same castle; as well as Super Special
Dog
, Window Seat and That's My Daughter, among others.

Comedycentral.com’s broadband channel, launched on November
1, 2005, became one of the first network websites to premiere original
broadband series. In the past year, Comedy Central has premiered an extensive
line-up of original programming on its broadband channel that includes
animation, live-action narratives, topical stand-up performances and sketch
comedies.
