Top Model Renewed in the U.K.

LONDON, December 7: LIVINGtv, which today named a new
commissioning editor, has renewed Britain’s Next Top Model for a third season in a deal with CBS Paramount
International Television.

The deal includes the 10×1-hour show on LIVINGtv, as well as
the 10×30-minute The Confessionals, with
revelations from each contestant, on LIVINGtv2. The new season launches on the
British cable and satellite channel in 2007. The second season was one of
LIVINGtv’s biggest hits this year, drawing about 4.1 million viewers.

Thumbs Up Productions will again produce the show.

In related news, LIVINGtv has named Sophie Morgan as
commissioning editor. Morgan is currently the head of development at the
independent production outfit World of Wonder. She begins January 15, reporting
to Clare Hollywood, LIVINGtv’s head of commissioning.
