Pact to Host NATPE Panel and Networking Event

LONDON/LOS ANGELES, December 4: Pact, the trade body for
British independent producers, will host a panel and networking session at
NATPE, set for January 15 to 18 in Las Vegas.

The panel will look at the opportunities that have opened up
for independent producers since the passing of the 2003 Communications Act. It
will be moderated by Holly Pye, agent at the
William Morris Agency, and will feature Wayne Garvie, the director of content
and production at BBC Worldwide; Nick Southgate, creative director at Ricochet;
Andrew Zein, the MD Tiger Aspect Productions; and Christina Willoughby, the head of international sales and
co-productions at Channel 4 International. The session, on January 17 at 5
p.m., will be followed by a networking event to help British producers meet
with producers and broadcasters from the U.S. and other markets.

NATPE is also offering a special membership and registration
price of $425 for Pact members.
