Instant Media Announces Fox Content Deal

PALO ALTO, October 17: The online content company Instant
Media has announced a deal to offer film and television content from Twentieth
Century Fox through its broadband I'M player.

The deal covers films such as X-Men The Last Stand, The Sentinel and Just My Luck, as
well as TV shows like 24 and Prison
Break
. "We want to securely distribute
our content online and deliver it in a way that is convenient to
consumers," said Jamie McCabe, the SVP of worldwide PPV, VOD and EST at Twentieth
Century Fox. "By partnering with Instant Media, consumers can watch Fox
content in a way that suits their evolving digital behavior."

With I'M's video player, viewers are able to create a
personalized portfolio of programs that are automatically downloaded and then
viewable at the click of a button. "We have three factors that we believe
are essential to the online entertainment experience: viewing quality, content
availability and ease of use," said Andy Leak, the CEO of Instant Media.
"Our software already provides the highest standard of viewing available
in the simplest way possible. By working with Twentieth Century Fox to offer
premium content, we are confident that we are offering the most complete and
unique system available to users."

I'M provides its viewers access to more than 550 channels,
covering news, sports, entertainment and technology. The programming options include
both paid and free content. The I'M viewer is free to download at www.im.com.
Content deals are in place with Universal Studios Home Entertainment, CBS, NBC,
ABC, PBS and BBC, among others.
