New ID for Yoram Gross-EM.TV

CANNES/SYDNEY, October 10: The Australian kids’ and family
entertainment producer Yoram Gross-EM.TV has unveiled its new corporate
identity: Flying
Bark Productions.

The
rebranding follows EM.Entertainment’s acquisition of the remaining 50 percent
of Yoram Gross-EM.TV at the beginning of this year. The Flying Bark identity is
intended to reflect the outfit’s “bold and contemporary vision.” It will now be
diversifying beyond animation and puppetry to include kids’ and adults’
live-action series and films.

Flying Bark Productions, which also incorporates Flying Bark
Distribution, is the company’s production services and distribution division.
Its focus will be on producing children’s entertainment. The division
Greenpatch will continue to develop Australian programming. Greenpatch is 55
percent owned by Australian shareholders, including some of its key creative
employees, and 45 percent by Flying Bark Productions. Forest Interactive is the
multimedia division of the group. And Trackdown is 51 percent owned by Flying
Bark Productions, with the remainder being owned by Australian film industry
music professionals. It includes a digital recording and a scoring stage.

The unveiling of Flying Bark Productions will coincide with
the release of the company’s first new production, Zigby, which will run through Greenpatch Productions. It
is a 3D animated project for preschoolers that is being co-produced with ABC Australia.

“The
name change symbolizes the innovative approach of the company,” said Susanne
Schosser, the MD of EM.Entertainment and Junior.TV. “With Flying Bark
Productions, we intimately connect the strengthening of production skills in
high quality entertainment as well as the intensification of activities within
the interactive segment.”
