3DD Takes on New Titles

LONDON, October 3: 3DD Entertainment has expanded its
factual slate in advance of MIPCOM, taking on the rights to the Emmy-winning
classic science series Cosmos, among
other titles.

Inking a deal with Ann Druyan (Druyan-Sagan Associates), 3DD
will be heading to MIPCOM with 13 digitally re-mastered hour-long episodes of Cosmos, created and narrated by the late Dr. Carl
Sagan.

3DD has also secured an exclusive deal with Double Jab
Productions to represent the worldwide rights (excluding the U.K.) to the
60-minute/90 minute documentary Barry Sheene—The Definitive Film about the legendary Grand Prix driver. Double Jab
has a first look deal with 3DD for its new profile-based, all-access
programming for 2007.

Other new titles in the 3DD factual catalogue include the
6×1-hour Sex & The Silver Screen,
exploring the 100-year evolution of sexuality and censorship in motion
pictures; and The American Film Foundation’s Maya Lin—A Clear
Strong Vision
