Jennifer Dodge to Lead Paramount Animation

Paramount Animation has named Jennifer Dodge, former president of Spin Master Entertainment, as its new president following Ramsey Naito’s exit.

Dodge will take on the role on January 5, reporting to Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein, co-chairs of Paramount Pictures. In her new role, Dodge will oversee all operations of the animation group.

During her tenure at Spin Master, Dodge helped to expand the PAW Patrol and Unicorn Academy brands. She helped bring the PAW Patrol franchise to the movie screen, with PAW Patrol: The Movie and PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.

Dodge is also an alum of Nickelodeon, where she was senior VP of development for preschool. She also previously worked at Cookie Jar Entertainment as VP of distribution and sales operations and at Decode Entertainment as director of production and development.

“Jennifer is an exceptional creative executive and producer with a proven track record of building franchises that connect with global audiences,” said Goldberg and Greenstein in a statement. “Her deep understanding of storytelling, world-building and brand development make her the ideal leader to shape the next era of Paramount Animation. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the team.”

“I’ve always believed in the power of animation to inspire, entertain and unite audiences of all ages,” Dodge commented. “Paramount has a rich legacy of bringing bold, imaginative stories to life. I’m honored to join Dana, Josh and the entire team as we expand that vision and create the next generation of unforgettable animated films.”
