DAZN Clinches NHL, GT Sport Pacts

DAZN is set to become the exclusive home of NHL.TV in almost 200 markets and has entered into a new agreement with GT Sport.

In a deal with the National Hockey League, NHL.TV lands on DAZN in almost 200 countries and territories, excluding the U.S., Canada and select other markets, delivering live and on-demand access to every game, including the Stanley Cup Playoffs. It can be purchased as a standalone subscription or as an add-on to existing DAZN packages.

Shay Segev, DAZN Group CEO, said: “The launch of NHL.TV on DAZN is a game-changer for hockey fans around the world. By combining DAZN’s global platform and technology with the NHL’s world-class product, we’re delivering the ultimate experience to fans—anytime, anywhere.”

Steve McArdle, NHL COO, added: “We are thrilled to partner with DAZN to continue to expand our global reach and engage with our fast-growing international fan base. Our shared commitment to innovation, gold standard technology and providing an exceptional service will allow us to deliver NHL content to hockey fans around the world on the platforms they prefer.”

In addition, a separate deal with GT Sport will bring DAZN users free access to the International GT Open (GT3), Euroformula Open (F3) and GT Cup Europe (GT).

The GT Sport alliance expands the free motorsports offering on DAZN, joining the TCR Europe series.
