World Screen’s Anna Carugati Set for Q&A with Youku’s Weidong Yang

On Monday, April 9, World Screen’s Anna Carugati will moderate a keynote session with Weidong Yang, the president of Youku at the Alibaba Media & Entertainment Group, as part of MIPTV’s overall Creators in Demand conference theme.

The keynote will outline the necessity of continuing to bridge the internet and broadcast channels and the need to create qualitative, brand-defining content. Yang will also discuss the company’s international partnership strategy, aimed at strengthening Youku’s position as a leading multiscreen entertainment and media platform in China.

Carugati, the group editorial director of World Screen, will moderate the Q&A in the Palais des Festivals’ Debussy Theatre from 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

Yang is also a MIPTV 2018 Médaille d’Honneur recipient.
