Disney’s Ben Sherwood Among MIPCOM 2016 Keynotes

PARIS: Disney’s Ben Sherwood, Participant Media’s David Linde and STX Entertainment’s Sophie Watts are confirmed as keynote speakers for MIPCOM 2016.

Sherwood is co-chair of Disney Media Networks and president of the Disney-ABC Television Group. During his keynote, Sherwood will outline how Disney has been an early-mover in the fast-changing TV industry.

Linde is CEO of Participant Media, where he leads overall strategy, day-to-day operations, content creation, advocacy, strategic investments and acquisitions. Linde will talk about Participant Media’s unique focus in entertainment to create a meaningful impact on pressing social issues through its content.

Watts is the president of STX Entertainment. Her keynote will have as its theme “reimagining and building a 21st-century media company from the ground up,” and will explore how STX Entertainment is approaching the challenges and opportunities of the changing global media landscape.
