Ken DuBow Sets Up Bob’s Your Uncle

BERLIN: Ken DuBow, previously the executive VP of Lightning Entertainment, has set up the new distribution outfit Bob’s Your Uncle.

The company makes its inaugural debut on the European Film Market, where it is showcasing two projects. The first of which is Being Charlie, directed by Rob Reiner. John Jarratt (Wolf Creek) makes his directorial debut and stars in Stalkher.

DuBow has been in the industry for more than 30 years. He was executive VP of worldwide at First Look Studios and president and CEO of Modern Entertainment. He has also held executive positions with MGM/UA in syndication, and as head of U.S. cable sales at the Walt Disney Company in syndication, and Pandora Films in international film and TV program sales.

Said DuBow, “I always believe there is an opening in the international marketplace for intelligent movies with compelling stories and name casts.”
