IM Global Launches TV Distribution Arm

LOS ANGELES: Eli Shibley has joined IM Global Television to serve as president of international distribution and co-productions at the independent studio.

The appointment marks the launch of a TV-distribution arm at IM Global Television, which is a division of Reliance ADA-owned IM Global. He will manage the distribution of IM Global's TV slate, which includes Cat's Cradle, based on the Kurt Vonnegut title; Darkover, an adaptation of the Marion Zimmer Bradley book series; the Kevin Spacey-produced crime drama Den of Thieves; and Antonie Fuqua's Patrolman P. Shibley will also oversee acquisitions of third-party scripted and unscripted projects. He joins IM Global from Electus, where he was senior VP of international media and formats.
