NEW YORK: In April, of all the new programs to debut globally, Netflix's Marvel's Daredevil stirred up the most buzz in social media, with some 137,000 tweets, according to The WIT.

Netflix made all episodes of Daredevil available at once globally. The series is about a young boy who is blind but has extraordinary senses. He fights against injustice by day as a lawyer and by night as the superhero "Daredevil" in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Much buzz talk in social media called it a #MustWatch and #Flawless with many commenters saying they were #BingeWatching the episodes.

From ATV in Turkey, the comedy/drama Mutlu Ol Yeter delivered some 56,000 tweets. The series chronicles the adventures and misadventures of the residents of a quiet and pleasant neighborhood. Social media was buzzing about the #AnticipatedCast, also calling it a #NiceComedy and chatting about the #RatingsWarDiscussion.

Elegidos, la música en tus manos, the adaptation of Rising Star on Telefe in Argentina, also drummed up some 56,000 tweets. Alongside four celebrity judges, viewers at home vote in real time for the contestants via the show's second-screen app. The entire show airs live, beginning with the very first audition. In social media, conversations centered on the #GreatProductionValues, #Talent and #MatiasRap (trending contestant).

Also from Argentina, Esperanza Mia on Canal 13 ranked number four on the list of most buzzed about new programs in social media, delivering around 50,000 tweets. The romantic comedy/musical telenovela is about an attractive young woman who enters a convent to investigate her past, and has an impossible romance with a man of the cloth. Those commenting in social media were talking about the #ClassicSuccessFormula, the #Humor and #GoodChemistry, with some calling it #Sweet. Many were #LaliEspositoFans.

The Grace Helbig Show, which debuted on E! in the U.S., features internet sensation Grace Helbig, who delivers her "uber fan" point of view on what's trending in pop culture, as well as fun and unexpected interviews with celebrity guests. The premiere garnered some 49,000 social media comments from #HelbigFans who called it #Cool and were #LOL.

Another U.S. series, Lip Sync Battle on Spike TV, generated around 48,000 social media comments. The entertainment show is based on a segment from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC. Each episode features celebrities going head to head lip synching the song of their choice. Many in social media were buzzing about the #GreatEntertainment and #GreatGuests and were #LOL.

NBC's A.D. The Bible Continues, a follow-up to HISTORY's 2013 miniseries The Bible, had around 44,000 tweets surrounding it. Conversations on social media were saying it was #BetterThantheFirstOne and were filled with #Enthusiasm.

The one-off CQFD ! Ce qu'il fallait détourner ! on D8 in France saw some 43,000 social media tweets. The comedy special featured actors, comedians, singers, athletes and TV hosts taking part in fake commercials and clips and parody movies and TV shows. Many of the people discussing the show in social media were #NotConvinced and called it #UnderAchieving.

Mexico's Canal de las Estrellas premiered its adaptation of Stand Up for Your Country, locally titled Me Pongo De Pie, which drew some 41,000 tweets. The entertainment format sees parent/child duos with all types of talent compete to get a standing ovation from a live audience. Buzz talk from a #DividedAudience had some calling it #TooMelodramatic and saying there was #NotEnoughTalent, while others enjoyed the #EmpathywithStories.

Coming in at number 10 is ITV's Raining In My Heart, a documentary special about three children at the forefront of cancer research. The decisions they make, and the risks they take with their own lives, will benefit countless cancer patients in the future. Around 38,000 tweets went out about the broadcast, calling it #ToughViewing and #HeartMelting. A #MassiveRetweetfrom1Dsinger also sent social media buzzing.
