We really look forward to a new season and to keep on following Bruce and Emma and their continuing struggle to settle down in Sweden.”

"We’re thrilled with the success of the show, which is a testament to the incredible concept and creative auspices behind this distinct and universally appealing show," commented Carrie Stein, the executive VP of global production at Entertainment One. "Television viewers are interested in stories that stretch beyond their borders which is what Welcome to Sweden can deliver, making it all the more fun to produce.”

"It's an amazing feeling to create a show to which people are responding so favorably. We intend to make season two even better," added Greg Poehler.
