Chipotle Named MIPTV Brand of the Year

PARIS: The U.S. restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill is being honored as MIPTV's Brand of the Year, recognizing its original online series Farmed and Dangerous, which will have its exclusive international premiere in Cannes.

On Wednesday, April 9, in the Grand Auditorium, the team behind Farmed and Dangerous, including its star Ray Wise (Twin Peaks, Robocop), will be on hand to present the series to MIPTV delegates. Mark Crumpacker, Chipotle's chief marketing officer; Tim Piper, a partner in producer Piro and the writer/director/executive producer on the show; and Daniel Rosenberg, also a partner in Piro and writer/executive producer, will be there as well. The team will share their insight into how to leverage brand partnerships without compromising creative vision to produce the best audience experience. Chipotle will receive the Brand of the Year Award after the screening.
