Herbert Kloiber to Receive Tartikoff Legacy Award

LOS ANGELES: Herbert Kloiber, the chairman of Tele München Gruppe, will receive a Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award at NATPE in January, joining previously announced honorees producer John Langley, BET Networks’ Debra Lee and Modern Family creator Steven Levitan.

"He has built an extraordinary company whose longevity in the entertainment business is incredible. Coupled with John’s creative vision that catalyzed an entire genre of unscripted programming, Debra’s passionate advocacy on behalf of the cable business, and Steven’s keen eye and deft touch with family comedy, this group represents what Brandon championed in television."

NATPE 2013 marks the tenth annual Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards. The reception celebrating the recipients takes place January 29; the market runs from January 28 to 30 in MIami.
