New YouTube Channel from Deepak Chopra and Family

NEW YORK: Deepak Chopra and his children have launched a new original lifestyle YouTube channel called The Chopra Well.

For the channel, Dr. Chopra—a physician, author, speaker and founder of the Chopra Center for Wellbeing—will work alongside Mallika Chopra, his daughter, an author and the creator of the website Intent.com; and Gotham Chopra, his son, who is an entrepreneur and journalist.

Generate Studios, the in-house production arm of Alloy Digital, is the partnering producer of The Chopra Well. The online channel is slated to air shows such as Who Are You?, an interview program hosted by Dr. Chopra; 30 Days of Intent, a spiritual makeover series hosted by Mallika; and Holy Facts, which will feature astonishing stories related to religion and spirituality, hosted by Gotham.

Additional series for the channel, which aims to “transform the world from the inside out,” will be announced over the next several months.

“I believe that if 100 million people underwent personal transformation in the direction of peace, harmony, laughter, love, kindness, joy and equanimity, the world would be fundamentally transformed,” said Dr. Chopra. “By subscribing to this channel and participating in our community, by watching, responding to and interacting with the content, and by sharing and uploading your own videos and making comments, we can find the critical mass that will transform this planet.”

“My sister and I have had the incredible good fortune to grow up around great minds that are always pushing the boundaries of innovation and imagination,” remarked Gotham. “Now, because of the technological tools we have at our disposal, YouTube most notably, we are able to help evolve this community of thinkers to a whole new stratosphere. We no longer need to evangelize change, we can do it, and be it, and share it with one another. And frankly speaking, I think there is urgency to all of this—we need to rethink the world in which we want to live starting now.”

Mallika added: “My father is not only an inspiration to the world, but also to those of us who know him well. It’s been interesting, thrilling and also very fulfilling to work with my brother and father, as well as the incredible team involved in launching The Chopra Well.”
