Jason Priestley to Host the International Emmy Awards

NEW YORK: The actor, director and producer Jason Priestley has been lined up to host the 39th International Emmy Awards, taking place November 21 in New York, to be joined on stage by a number of celebrity presenters. 

This is the second consecutive year the awards will be hosted by Priestley (Call Me Fitz, Beverly Hills 90210). Richard Parsons, the chairman of Citigroup and the former chairman and CEO of Time Warner, along with actress Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) will present the International Emmy Directorate Award to Subhash Chandra, the founder of Zee TV in India.

Other presenters set to take the Emmy stage include John Larroquette, Ally Sheedy, Jeff Hephner (Starz’ Boss), Edward Herrmann (Gilmore Girls), Danny Pino (NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Kelly Rutherford (The CW’s Gossip Girl), Jessica Szohr (Gossip Girl), Rick Hoffmann (Suits), Blanca Soto (Univision’s Eva Luna and El Talismán), Wendy Williams (The Wendy Williams Show), Brazilian actor Vladimir Brichta, and Goku and Luffy (characters from the anime Dragon Ball Z and One Piece).
