Shine International Hires for Asia-Pacific Post

LONDON: Shine International has appointed Matthew Ashcroft to the newly created role of senior VP of Asia Pacific at the company.

Ashcroft will be based out of Shine Australia’s offices in Sydney with the responsibility of maximizing tape and format exploitation opportunities for all platforms across the Asia-Pacific region. He will work with Cyrus Farrokh, the director of international distribution at Shine Network and report to the new head of Shine International—a position that has not yet been filled. Prior to joining the company, Ashcroft was the director of program sales at MTV Networks International Asia Pacific for four years in Singapore.
