Lifetime Hires New Reality VPs

NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES: Abigail Harvey and Noah Pollack have both been named VP of reality programming for Lifetime Networks for the East and West Coast, respectively.

Harvey and Pollack will be responsible for developing and overseeing production of non-fiction projects for Lifetime. Harvey will be based in New York, while Pollack will serve in the Los Angeles office.

“Both Abigail and Noah bring extensive experience in creating hits in the unscripted arena, as well as a keen eye for identifying and developing distinctive programming, to Lifetime,” said Gena McCarthy, the senior VP of reality and alternative programming at Lifetime Networks. “We are thrilled to have executives with such strong backgrounds and experience join our team.”

Harvey has more than 20 years of experience in the unscripted genre as an executive producer/showrunner and executive in the U.S. and U.K. She spent most of her career at the BBC developing and producing prime-time hits, as well as high-rated lifestyle shows. As a freelance showrunner, Harvey has also made shows for Bravo, BBC America, TLC and Food Network.

Pollack joins Lifetime from VH1, where he was the VP of series development and original programming. Programs launched under his guidance include Basketball Wives, Basketball Wives LA, Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, VH1’s longest running show, The T.O. Show, Tough Love and the development of the upcoming Stevie TV.
