VH1 Plans Basketball Wives Spinoff

SANTA MONICA: VH1 is expanding on its Basketball Wives franchise with the new series Baseball Wives, debuting November 30.

The cast of Baseball Wives includes Anna Benson, the wife of Arizona pitcher Kris Benson; Tanya Grace, the ex-wife of retired Chicago’s Mark Grace; Chantel Kendall, the ex-wife of Kansas City’s Jason Kendall; and Brooke Villone, the wife of big-league veteran Ron Villone. The women cope with marriage, gossip and fame and count on their friends to be their support system while their husbands are on the road.

Shed Media is producing the series. Executive producing for Shed Media are Nick Emmerson, Jennifer O’Connell, Alex Demyanenko and Ross Breitenbach and executive producing for VH1 are Jeff Olde, Jill Holmes and Tom Huffman.
