LONDON: Jon Mountague has been named DLT Entertainment’s executive editor in a newly created position.

Mountague will report to Don Taffner Jr., the president of DLT. He is tasked with growing DLT’s production interests out of London in a new Manchester-based division that focuses on single- and multi-camera scripted comedy, as well as developing factual entertainment formats.
Prior to his new role, Mountague was an executive producer at BBC Comedy North. He has produced and executive produced a slate of award-winning shows, including Ideal and We Are Klang.

Taffner said: “Jon’s pedigree in developing the best in comedy and entertainment is the perfect fit for the DLT brand. Plus, his experience in growing new talent both on and off-screen is exactly what we are looking for as we expand the business in the North of England. We see him as the perfect complement to our team, which includes the recently appointed Rohan Acharya (producer of White Van Man) and John Bartlett (producer of My Family).”
