New Fox Unit to Help Launch BabyTV Products

LONDON: Fox Licensing & Merchandising, the new business unit launched by Fox Latin American Channels (FLAC), is to oversee the international consumer products and retail strategy of FOX International Channels’ BabyTV across Latin America.

BabyTV’s new division with existing licensing partners Ansaldo and Partyexpress Chile and licensing agent P&L Global will manage the brands’ expansion across home video, toys, publishing and other toddler product categories. The first set of products featuring baby gym, soft books and soft musical toys is scheduled to reach stores in Q2 2012. BabyTV has also signed up new licensing agent Character Mix SRL for Argentina and Uruguay.
