MIAMI: Telemundo is set to launch two YouTube channels consisting of Telemundo and mun2 content that feature clips and short-form programming.

The Telemundo YouTube channel will offer weekly novela summaries available with English subtitles, as well as daily novela clips in Spanish, while the mun2 YouTube channel will include mun2 promotional clips and mun2.tv original bilingual content. As of August, Telemundo.com ranked as one of the top three most "engaged" video experiences among all television networks, according to comScore.

"We are thrilled that our platform will help create and foster connections between Telemundo’s wonderful content and the large and dynamic group of Hispanic users currently active on YouTube," said Rodrigo Velloso, the head of Hispanic and Latin American content at YouTube.

"We are excited to partner with YouTube to share clips of Telemundo’s compelling original content with an even broader online audience," said Peter Blacker, the executive VP of digital media and emerging business at Telemundo. "We know our fans are tremendously engaged with video content, and dedicated network channels on YouTube will allow the networks to connect with current fans of our programming, while attracting a new fan base as well."
