3net Adds Original Series & More to October Lineup

CULVER CITY, October 6: 3net is to debut three new original programs, including the adult drama series Scary Tales, the lost civilization series The Ancient Life and Indy 500: The Inside Line.

 

The Ancient Life (working title), premiering October 9,features host Brit Eaton uncovering the mysteries of once dynamic and thriving world civilizations such as Pompeii. The six-episode hour-long series is produced by JWM Productions. The one-hour special Indy 500: The Inside Line, to debut on October 13, offers 3D coverage of the Indianapolis 500 and gives viewers an in-depth look at the event preparations and the race as seen through the eyes of dynamic drivers Tony Kanaan, Helio Castroneves, Simona de Silvestro, Will Power and more.  It is produced by New Wave Entertainment. Scary Tales, which will premiere October 30,is an hour-long four-episode scripted series produced by Workaholic Productions that plays on fears of the human subconscious.
 
The premiere schedule will also include the Sony animated film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, the IMAX space film Hubble 3D, hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio, and the travelogue series World Cities 3D. World Cities is a one-hour, 13-episode series produced by D4D Ingeniería visual S.L.and CABLEready in which Barcelona native and presenter Solana Tixi introduces viewers to the rich histories, cultures and people of the world’s greatest destinations.
