LONDON: Remarkable Television has been commissioned by BBC Two to produce a second season of the factual series Restoration Home, which Endemol Worldwide Distribution will be bringing to MIPCOM.

The show, presented by Caroline Quentin, launched on BBC two in July. The new 6×1-hour installment is set for broadcast in 2012. The series spotlights historic buildings whose owners are looking to breath new life into the ruins by creating 21st century dream homes.

Annette Clarke, the executive producer for Remarkable Television, commented, “Each and every property in Restoration Home is packed with enticing stories of Britain’s past and these tales are combined with the owner’s ambition to create a 21st century family home. Popular factual formats and features programming is at the heart of Remarkable’s business and this format is a proven success for BBC Two.”
