30 Rock Gets Stripped Weekday Slot in Canada

TORONTO: The first five seasons of the comedy 30 Rock are to be stripped five nights a week on OMNI Television, marking a first for Canadian TV.

Starting September 19 at 10 p.m. on OMNI 1, 30 Rock will be stripped Tuesday through Friday, before resuming to a full Monday through Friday strip on September 26. The show returns mid-season on Canada’s Citytv with all-new episodes from its its sixth installment.

NBC’s 30 Rock has garnered 13 Emmy nominations, including its fifth consecutive nod in the Outstanding Comedy Series category.
