Global Readies Fall Lineup

TORONTO: Canada’s Global is prepping a star-studded fall lineup, with a slate of new series, including Prime Suspect, and returning favorites.

Returning hits this fall will include all-new seasons of Survivor: South Pacific, Hawaii Five-0, the number one new drama series; Glee, NCIS: LA, The Good Wife, House, Bones and more.

The brand-new crime series Prime Suspect will premiere September 22 and stars Maria Bello (A History of Violence) as a detective and co-stars Aidan Quinn (Legends of the Fall). It is directed by Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights). Season three of Parenthood will debut on the channel as well as season two of Harry’s Law, starring Kathy Bates (Misery). A Gifted Man, starring Patrick Wilson (HBO’s Angels in America)

Global is also launching a new Thursday comedy block that will feature The Office, Fran Drescher’s new series Happily Divorced and How to be a Gentleman, starring David Hornsby (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia). Global animation night is returning with The Simpsons, The Cleveland Show, Family Guy, American Dad and the new Allen Gregory to join on October 30.
