Comedy Central Reveals Fall Lineup

NEW YORK: Comedy Central’s fall season, which is starting off with a roast of actor Charlie Sheen, is set to feature all-new series and returning favorites.

The new season kicks off with the world premiere of the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen to air September 19. Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane will conduct the special. Other season highlights are a South Park documentary to air October 2 and the cable TV premiere of NBC’s 30 Rock, which will air weeknights on Comedy Central starting September 19. There will also be a range of new stand-up specials this season.

Tosh.0 returns on September 20, with more viral Internet videos presented by host Daniel Tosh, followed by the second-season premiere of the new series Workaholics, about a group of friends who live and work together.

Season 15 of the animated series South Park starts October 5, followed by the second season premiere of Nick Swardson’s sketch show, Pretend Time.

The premiere of the brand-new stand-up series Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution, which features comedy from Iglesias and his comedian friends, will premiere October 6.
