OWN Sets Launch for The Rosie Show, Best of Oprah

LOS ANGELES: The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) has set a premiere date of October 10 for Rosie O’Donnell’s new talk show, The Rosie Show, as well as the program Own Your Life, featuring the best of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Both programs will air weekdays. The Rosie Show is O’Donnell’s return to television and is produced by Harpo Studios in association with KidRo Productions and SantaBu Productions.

Own Your Life will have an online class in addition to the series, which will include course work on Oprah.com. Viewers can sign up to reserve a spot with the goal of getting 1 million people. Oprah will share personal revelations while reminiscing on the show’s 25-year history to teach the lessons about fulfilling your life’s potential, breaking through your barriers, understanding your purpose, letting go of anger and more. The series is produced by Harpo Productions.

“With Rosie’s authenticity, paired with Oprah’s remarkable insights from the past 25 years, there will be two hours every day that viewers won’t want to miss,” said Erik Logan,  co-president of OWN.

“At Oprah’s core, she is a teacher,” said Sheri Salata, co-president of OWN. “Own Your Life is the brand we are building at OWN. This will be a signature series along with Rosie’s creative and comedic genius.”
